Child Studio Photography

My home studio is coming together nicely.  Valentina was my first client to use our new white backdrop.  She is such a sweetheart. I was so impressed by how she understood the Spanish and English language as if there were no difference and as a mother, I couldn't believe how well she minded her mother. I think I need to take some pointers from her mommy.

Children are fun to photograph and I get such a work out from moving to keep up with their constant state of movement.

Bogel Park Photography

It's a tradition that I take my niece Mira shopping for a new birthday dress each year and this year was no different. I love taking her shopping because not only does she have fabulous taste but she is so enthusiastic about picking out clothes and trying them on. She likes buying accessories and I laughed every time I heard her sweet voice say, "But Aunt Linda, what about the headbands?"  What makes a shopping experience go so well is that when we are in the dressing room and she wants everything we picked out and tried on, she is accepting when I say we have to choose only a few.
We found this beautiful dress for her Tea Party Birthday happening tomorrow and she wore it to her Kindergarten graduation last night. So sweet.
We went to Bogel Park for pictures which was blooming with spring.
Happy 6th Birthday Mira! I'm excited to have tea with you.

NWA Child Photographer | Tanyard Creek

We enjoyed sunshine at Tanyard Creek and playing in the water to cool off from a warm spring day.

NWA Child Photographer | Downtown Bentonville

Meet Kara and Tanner.
They are such sweet siblings.
They enjoyed slipping off their shoes and prancing around downtown.

NWA Child Photographer | First Communion

My niece is celebrating her first communion in less than two weeks!  I took some shots of her in a makeshift studio Randy set up for me when we experienced four straight days of rain and ran out of hope for sunshine.

He's resourceful like that and one of the many reasons he's my BFF and TLF.

Northwest Arkansas Baby Photographer

I photographed this cutie pie last week.  She is so adorable I could eat her up!

Those pigtails, those eyes, that smile, OH MY!

Not Just Another Face

You've heard a picture is worth a 1,000 words but I say a face is worth a 1,000 words.  A face can tell you where you've been but it won't tell you where you are going.

I forced my camera on to my parents, insisting I take their picture and it just so happened that tonight is the night my Dad passes his term as President of the Shrine Club of Bella Vista onto a different member so they were dressed up for the evening's festivities.

When I look at my parents I see the youth in their eyes as though they are holding onto a secret.  I see a history I will never come to know.

Thank you for letting me capture a piece of you.

Grunge

We like to play with grunge on occasion and pretend we are on the streets of Seattle listening to Pearl Jam from outside a club.
